Integration

Why is good integration important?

Information systems are expanded according to needs and changed according to regulations that define business processes. Complex information systems have emerged over a long period of time, and in informatization processes information is usually stored, as the most important resource of the information system, crucial for successful business. The parts of the information system that certainly exist in a large system are accounting, which has a decade (or two) of coverage and data archives in general ledgers, applications for tracking clients or customers, issued invoices, offers, special promotions and other business correspondence. Over time, specific procedures change, but trace and information in business databases remain for analysis and insight into results. It is also the basis for planning future business activities, which planning is based on actual business events – not estimates.

Our software solutions respect the fact that in every organization there are data sources that need to be integrated, even in cases where old applications are shut down and replaced with new web / mobile software solutions. New solutions are almost always integrated with the existing ones, thus we have successfully implemented systems that, in addition to the existing bookkeeping, perform the function of business monitoring of contract execution (items, positions, allocated funds by projects are monitored). Such web applications greatly help in the management and planning of business units, and the applications themselves are closely integrated into the existing information system, which initially had only the accounting part of monitoring, and after integration has specific monitoring of contracted projects. In this way, the management has a significantly faster insight into the implementation of projects and the implemented phases of payment for the implementation or financing of project preparation.

Another example of integration is web applications that track purchase orders and payments, and are also related to payment transactions.

The characteristic of well-performed integrations of new applications into existing information systems is visible through the acceptance of users, who in their activities have concrete help in everyday work, and their feedback evaluations of application solutions are taken into account when supplementing and correcting computerized business processes.

The technical feature of the implementation of integration meets the specified technological characteristics, which are usually prescribed by the internal IT service. Our solutions easily fit into Windows workstation-based systems that use Active Domain user authority and role management systems, as well as systems that use LDAP – Unix / Linux user management services, regardless of the type of browser used by the end user of the web application. . To that extent, our solutions are flexible and adaptable for smaller workgroups, but also for systems with tens of thousands of users.

The integration also includes functions for managing electronic records, monitoring system load and creating log files for security requirements (audit functions) or to manage the necessary resources (recording the number of transactions and required resources for storing structured data or related documents – unstructured supporting documentation files) .

The integration uses web services, local and publicly available official web services.

Using these concepts, it is possible to present the needs for computer resources and potentially critical procedures that occur prematurely (start of the day and perform the maximum number of transactions in terms of hiring the maximum number of users, end-of-day processing, end-of-period analytics – closing monthly periods). …).
